We have small class sizes and well-qualified teachers dedicated to helping your child learn the best way they can for their level. We offer an enriched educational experience with hands-on learning, field trips, art, music, Spanish, STEAM teaching, and project-based learning. Project based learning helps students apply the principles taught across disciplines into topical projects and promotes critical thinking skills. In addition, our teachers and staff get to know each student and truly care about their welfare and success. We also create a close-knit community of families which provide support to parents and children. Our staff commits to pray for and support each of our families.
To apply, one needs to submit an online application with a non-refundable $25 application fee. You will receive a follow up email for you to provide additional information on your student and to schedule an interview with us. This interview is for the purpose of us getting to know each other better, to answer any questions you may have, and to give you the opportunity to tour the school. After the interview, we will extend an acceptance letter to the family. Enrollment opens January 21, 2025.

The maximum class size is 20 students per one teacher, but many classes may be smaller. However, kindergarten has an assistant teacher for the majority of the day, so their ratio is 1:10. We also have floating assistant teachers for all other grades so that students who need extra help or challenge can be given the attention they need. Our small class sizes and approach to personalized care foster an environment where teachers get to know each student personally and develop a loving, caring relationship with each child.

We use Purposeful Design for Language Arts, Math, and Science. Teachers also pull from a variety of resources and use hands-on learning to enhance our students’ educational experience. All subjects are taught from a Biblical worldview, highlighting God’s design revealed across disciplines. In addition, students study the Bible directly using Deep Roots Bible curriculum and memorize a Bible verse a week.
Students in all grades will be assessed using the Star Reading and Math assessments throughout the year. These tests are used to assess grade level and determine growth in these subjects as well as inform instruction for all students. In addition, these tests compare students’ reading and math levels to national averages per grade to ensure our students are staying competitive with other schools. In addition, we apply standards-based grading to students’ classwork. This allows us to measure that students are actually learning the necessary concepts per grade and can be used to compare to standards taught in their grade and beyond.
We follow the credits required by Nevada State standards per grade, so typically students can transfer in or out and be in sync with state requirements. Students graduating eighth grade will have above and beyond what would be needed for high school.
We offer music, art, Spanish and Lego Robotics as a part of our class day, to enrich students’ educational experience. We are not currently offering additional options outside of the school day.
